The story concludes in the recap film 'Odd Taxi: In the Woods' from 1:56:00 onwards.
This was very engaging from start to finish. I actually just wanted to know who Odokawa was talking to in his house this whole time... that was a bit if a let down but, everything else was a good reveal. I enjoyed it.
I knew there has to be something about this animal artistic style choice. It just doesn't feel right with the serious theme of the story. Well played in deed
I was bought into the idea that the animaly theme is a part of their universe thanks to the fact that the taxi call the doctor a gorilla right in his face. Looking back, that was rude AF.
It's just mind boggling
Kinda saw the human thing coming, there were a lot of hints and that flashback with the humans right near the start. Still, a cool twist. I liked seeing their human forms.
I didn't see that girl as the killer coming though, although it makes sense. I'm gueeing Odokawa remembered that the person he dropped off, probably wasn't the girl killed, but actually the killer (fried chicken lover, I forget her name lol)? Or something like that...
I need a season 2, I don't wanna believe she is getting away with murder and the smile she gave Odokawa at the end of the episode aggravated me.
will there be any S2
I don't know but the movie is coming out next month
Can't wait but the dub is probably gonna take longer.
so she got away with the murder and i guess our guy has something do with it
Honestly I'm not fan of mystery but the anime storytelling is pretty good. Definitely worth worth watching, I'm hoping for a new season. I'm looking forward to the movie next month!
Yo I knew it bro. 2m into the ep and I figured it all out. When he was going through his flashback all I was thinking about was that he didn't look like a Walrus. Then there was also the fact that they kept saying "Animal book." So I was wondering if it was all his imagination. But it was the moment when they said "You look like a Walrus" and "I wish I was a Walrus." Thats when I pieced together all the clues. The first couple eps in if I remember correctly that one of the characters was eating meat. In that moment I thought "Huh that's strange" because in a show like this called Beastars the Carnivores have to eat a meat substitution. So I was confused hella confused. Kinda crazy because I always wanted this to happen in at least 1 anime and it did.
Its honestly mind blowing for that foreshadowing for a 13 ep anime. This show is easily a 8/10 and I can't wait for the movie.
Solid anime
8.5/10
